We are now Live at Meghan.in and TechBuzz
15th October 2009 was great day! Why? Because we had multiple website launches!
Firstly Meghan.in has gone Live!
There has been much speculation and skepticism within me, that if i would be able to launch my own website and get back to the WWW or not. After a very long gap of 5 years, the critics in me have been shut up for good! With a neat design focusing on personal branding and a portfolio approach to it Meghan.in is now online!
Also two new weblogs were simultaneously launched: “The Shape of Peace“, which will serve as my personal weblog and “The Trip Hunter” website is my travelogue. These websites will be an ongoing process where many new content and features will be added. This is a very exciting time for me! You can find out more about Shape of Peace here and Trip Hunter here. WAIT! There is more good news!
My good friend Thilak from TechBuzz has come out with a makeover for his website. It is now a collaborated effort between Thilak and yours’ truely. Also to help us in our efforts we have another team member and our close friend Sidharth, joins us in our effort to make a good tech site, the best one.
TechBuzz now sports a new look. A clean magazine styled theme which is quick load, easily readable and effective. It has plenty of features to keep its users hooked on to it.
TechBuzz aims to bring the best of the world wide web to its thousands of users everyday and as a part of the team i will ensure that it stays in the right path. The website is more interactive. Its features include complete integration with social media and networking websites. It is completely optimized for Search Engines and the best apart about it is that it has been re-built keeping in mind the needs of its viewers.
A little intro about TechBuzz:
TechBuzz is a popular technology news website focusing on bringing out the latest in computers, web technology and gadgets to its users. A Google PR5 website with over 3000 visitors/day and averaging 120,000 unique visitors a month and an Alexa ranking of 62,144 and increasing.
Thilak has been solely responsible for bringing fresh content on the site ever since the site went live and now yours’ truly will lend a helping hand as an Editor apart from helping create fresh content for the site while providing a direction for this creative collaboration.
There are many plans for the future, this is just one of them. And i hope too see this new collaboration work towards the defined goals set by its team. We look forward to being very productive and have some fun working together.
As for my personal projects there are many in the pipeline. One step at a time to get the things moving. Working with deadlines has never been easy, but not impossible either. I’ve begun to walk a step at a time, now its time to learn to run. Hoping for the best and working towards it! Wish me luck!
We also managed to get together and have a small get-together. Not much of a launch party but we had a nice conversation over some good coffee at Cafe Coffee Day outlet at Empire Mall.
